What is Iaido experience?
"Iaido" which became the basis of Japanese Bushido
Hayashizaki Iai Shrine, the number one shrine in Japan in Murayama City, is the birthplace of Iaido. In an era when the idea that Japanese swords were a weapon to hurt people was commonplace, new ideas were born through Iai, and it began to be said that spiritual training was the first priority along with refining oneself and skill.
This "road" of Iaido, which has been passed down for hundreds of years, became the basis of Bushido and attracted not only Japan but also the world.
Iaido in modern times
Iai rehearses the "type" that has been handed down from ancient times.
Beginning with etiquette (sword etiquette), learn how to use your body, how to handle swords, and where to pay attention by imagining your own enemies and practicing the movements of a fixed pattern. To go.
Regardless of gender or age, you will learn Iaido and hone your spirit.

The “Murayama City Iaido Experience” is amazing!
A. Experience at Hayashizaki Iai Shrine, the most sacred place in Iaido, Japan
The “Murayama City Iaido Experience” will be held at the Hayashizaki Iai Shinbukan, which is right next to Hayashizaki Iai Shrine, the number one company in Japan in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture . The founder of "Iaido", Hayashizaki Shigenobu, had just trained at this shrine and devised "swordsmanship".
Iai Shrine is a sacred place of Iaido, which is visited by many swordfighters from all over Japan every year. I want everyone to feel the history of hundreds of years, such as what they felt and what they thought when Hayashizaki Shigenobu trained.
B. Experience under the guidance of stepped teachers
The teachers of Muso Shinden-ryu and the swordsmanship teacher will carefully guide you. We will give you various advice not only on the movement of Iaido but also on its spiritual side, and will also teach you the deeper part of Iaido.
The teachers will use their many years of experience to explain to beginners in an easy-to-understand manner.

The "Murayama City Iaido Experience" can be experienced by anyone of any age, regardless of gender. Anyone can feel free to experience "Iaido", where it is important to train the mental side rather than the physical strength.

In "Murayama City Iaido Experience", you will learn the "type" that was inherited 450 years ago. Beginning with etiquette (sword etiquette), you can learn how to use your body and head by practicing "type" movements, and you can train your concentration and spiritual aspects.
